China Drying Network was informed by the National Development and Reform Commission on February 21 that since 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Standardization Committee have initiated the implementation of “100 Energy Efficiency Standards Advancement Projectsâ€, China has organized relevant units to compile and publish 54 national standards.
These national standards include 28 energy consumption limit standards for high-energy-consuming industries such as cement, coal mining, tires, rare earths, and chemical products, and 8 national energy efficiency standards for terminal energy products such as motors, blowers, computers, and electrodeless lamps, and energy measurement instruments. There are 18 basic energy conservation standards, such as energy management systems, and energy statistics for enterprises. In addition, related departments and agencies also issued a technical specification document and two LED alliance standards.
According to the person in charge of the relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission, the above-mentioned 57 standards are of great significance for improving the efficiency threshold of new construction projects, eliminating backward production capacity, promoting efficient energy-saving products, promoting energy-saving technological progress, and improving energy management.
The goal of the "Hundred Energy Efficiency Standards Promotion Project" is to formulate and revise 100 key energy conservation standards within two years, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and promote industrial restructuring.
The person in charge said that the purpose of formulating and revising 100 key energy-saving standards is to implement the State Council's "12th Five-Year Plan" for energy-saving and emission-reduction, and effectively play a guiding and facilitating role for the standard in the field of energy conservation and emission reduction.
According to briefings, up to now, China has issued a total of 109 mandatory energy consumption standards for high energy-consuming industries and mandatory energy efficiency standards for terminal energy products.
