A 4S store manager in Fangcun, Guangzhou believes that the price of personal license plates in Guangzhou will continue to rise in the coming months.
Guangzhou license plate bid was once cold, in fact, Guangzhou began to limit the number of small and medium passenger cars two and a half years ago, but the price has been tepid. Under the limit of 120,000 units per year, many Guangzhou owners chose to buy a car in Guangzhou and a card in Shenzhen. It is very different from the hot auction scene of Shanghai's 70,000 yuan. The transaction price of Guangzhou license plate has been cold, and it has been sold at the base price of 10,000 yuan.
Mr. Zhang, a Buick 4S shop salesperson in Guangzhou, told reporters yesterday (February 26) that since Guangzhou and Shenzhen were not limited, many car owners chose to “shang the Shenzhen brand first, then shake the Guangzhou brand†and pass the 4S shop. The cost is about 3,000 yuan, which is much cheaper than the auction price. Although Guangzhou's license plate bids to 20,000, but the number of real rise to high prices is limited.
According to statistics from the Guangzhou Small and Medium Bus Index Control Platform, the reporter found that there was a peak band in Guangzhou's license plate auction in 2013. In September of that year, the average price exceeded 30,000 yuan, but most of the time remained below 20,000 yuan, and it was once deserted. Since August last year, the personal transaction price has remained at 10,000 yuan for four consecutive months, and even the number of auction applicants has been insufficient.
"Most of the owners are very rational, and it is not cost-effective to spend 10,000 yuan to buy a license." Mr. Zhang said that many people care about whether 4S stores offer services in surrounding cities, and are willing to spend 2,000 yuan to buy a foreign license. Those who bought the car after shaking the medium number, only a small number chose to take the cards.
The license plate price is likely to continue to rise. However, Shenzhen’s sudden restrictions on purchase restrictions have broken this calm. Some Guangzhou owners who originally wanted to go to Shenzhen have no way. Foshan, Dongguan and other cities have also begun to restrict the owners of Guangzhou. The price of Guangzhou license plates is rising. .
In January of this year, the lowest transaction price of Guangzhou license plate personally reached 12,000 yuan, the average price was 13,137 yuan, an increase of 15% from the previous month; this trend continued this month, a 10% increase.
Mr. Wu, who plans to buy a used car in the near future, reluctantly said that he originally planned to buy a car in Guangzhou. As a result, the price is getting higher and higher, and he is worried about catching up with Guangzhou after the card. "It's very tangled now. For me, spending one or two thousand to buy a license plate is not cost-effective, almost equivalent to the price of the car, but I can't shoot it and shake it. I have shaken it for more than a year."
However, the industry expects that Guangzhou license plate prices will continue to rise. Mr. Zhang believes that after Shenzhen’s restrictions, the outside world has been rumored that Guangzhou will be outside this year’s limit. Some local car owners are worried that rumors will come true and simply choose to take the cards. At the same time, many 4S stores have also squeezed a number of new cars that were originally planned to be sold in Shenzhen. These owners also want to bid on the cards as soon as possible, "it is estimated that they will rise in the short term."
