Abstract: Opening torque is one of the important properties of bottled or hose packed drugs. In this paper, the opening torque testing process of medicinal glass bottles is taken as an example to describe the detection method of the opening torque of the bottle cap, and the application scope, parameter information, etc. of the Labthink blue light NJY-20 torque meter involved in the experiment are introduced. It helps the company to understand the test process of opening torque and related detection principles, so as to provide reference for the opening performance of related products monitored by the company.

1 , the meaning

4.1 Scope of application
Bottled containers: Suitable for bottled packaging medicines, foods, bottle caps, open torque value test, such as bottles, beverage bottles and so on. Hose packaging products: Suitable for hose packaging food, medicine, cosmetics, etc. Bottle cap locking, opening torque value test, such as eye drops, hand cream, shoe polish ( threaded connection ) and so on. Extended application: Suitable for tightening and opening torque values ​​of nuts and bolts, or locking and opening torque values of bottle caps and thermos flasks ( threaded connections ) . Standard: This equipment can meet many national and international standards, such as GB/T 17876 , ASTM D 2063 , ASTM D3198 , ASTM D3474 , BB/T 0025 , BB/T 0034, etc.4.2 Equipment Parameters
There are three types of equipment: 20 N·m , 40 N·m , and 50 N·m . The test accuracy is Class 1 and the resolution of the system is 0.001 N·m . The specimen clamping range of the device is Φ 5 mm ~ Φ 170 mm . The device provides two test modes: opening force and locking force. The test peak is automatically maintained to ensure that the test results are accurately recorded. (1) Turn on the power switch of the torque meter and set the parameter information such as test mode and statistical quantity.
(2) The sample is clamped on the fixture.
(3) Click on the test option and unscrew the cap by hand. The instrument will automatically test the maximum torque value of the sample during unscrewing of the cap and display it as the opening torque of the sample.

Article 5 samples were tested, five samples opening torque were 0.964 N · m, 0.910 N · m, 0.937 N · m, 0.976 N · m, 0.961 N · m.
