Guangxi Develops Non-ferrous Metals Recycling Industry

A few days ago, a renewable resources processing park project approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China--the industrialization project of imported renewable resources recycling processing and utilization in Ganzhou, was started in Dacun, Xindi Town, Cangwu County.
Renewable raw materials are of great significance to China's resource supplement. According to reports, China's lead-zinc mines, copper concentrates, and bauxite resources are relatively scarce, and it is necessary to develop renewable industries of non-ferrous metals such as lead, zinc, copper, and aluminum. In 2006, the then State Environmental Protection Administration approved the construction of five renewable resource processing parks.
It is understood that the imported industrialization project for the recycling, processing, and utilization of renewable resources in Ganzhou is a major industrial project promoted by Guangxi this year. The total investment of the project is about 15 billion yuan, and the planned construction area is 10,000 mu, which will be constructed in three phases.
It is reported that after the project is completed, it will attract a large number of renewable resource companies to enter, and will be able to obtain 1 million tons of imported waste annually approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, forming a non-ferrous metal processing industry with copper-aluminum dismantling and deep processing, and achieving industrial output value will exceed 600 billion yuan, tax revenue of more than 500 million yuan, and can provide more than 40,000 jobs, to accelerate the pace of Guangxi to undertake the transfer of eastern industries, and promote the rapid development of Guangxi's circular economy has an important role.
