Four major ways to drive

In winter, ice and snow are common. Therefore, we have summarized the driving experience under some ice and snow conditions. Please refer to the drivers for reference. I sincerely hope that every driver can drive seriously and enjoy a safe journey!

Tip 1: Don't be afraid

Never drive a car in the snow or be overwhelmed. In times of emergency, mental stress can lead to panic and unresponsiveness. Relax, drive slowly, and in most cases handle it easily.

Tip Two: Morning Car Window

In the hot car in the morning, don't just sit in the car, get off the car and clean up the snow on the rear windshield and side windows, wipe the rearview mirror and turn signal lightly, and be prepared for the observation during driving.

Because of the low temperature at night, the wipers often freeze up. Before the ice on the windshield melts, please do not start the wiper to wipe snow. The driving motor of the wiper may also be burned.

Tip 3: Decrease Before Bending

When driving a school car, everyone practiced a detour before bending. In a straight line, the speed is reduced to a speed suitable for a turn, and then reduced to a suitable gear, and then turning. This is an important technique for safe driving in the snow.

Many people are accustomed to slowing the brakes during cornering and decelerating the bends. This is a taboo for driving in the snow. When turning, the center of the car is on the outside of the corner. The brakes tend to cause the vehicle to slide. In addition, the shifting in the bend can only support the steering wheel with one hand, which is very unfavorable for dealing with accidents.

Whether in the snow or in peacetime, the driver should try his best to reduce the speed before the bend. Under normal road conditions, shifting gears before cornering will not only be conducive to dealing with unexpected situations in the bends, but also can use the high torque output of low gears as soon as possible after turning to increase the speed and improve the passing efficiency of intersections.

Tip Four: Maintain Traction

In any case, always keep the file in exercise. In rain and snow, it is safer to maintain proper traction. If the engine is annihilated because the wheel is locked, it will be the worst thing. The car with the abs requires the driver to step on it and hand it over to abs.

Tip Five: Side Crash is Cheaper

If accidents are unavoidable, the cost of side collisions is even smaller.

Tip 6: Keeping Defrosting Always Open

Tip 7: Start with the second gear:

Start on ice or snow that has already been compacted. If skidding occurs, start with the second gear. Due to the small resistance of the ice surface, there is no need for a large torque output like a normal road surface. If you still start with a large torque, it is easy for the drive wheel to spin freely. Due to the presence of the differential, the front drive will move to the side of the wheel with less drive. The driver will instinctively correct the steering wheel, but it is still difficult to control.

Tip Eight: Fog Lights Cannot Always Open

If there is no fog, please close the rear fog lamp; if you are driving in the city, please turn off the front fog lamp. Since the fog lamp is brighter than ordinary low beam lights, if it is not lit when it is not necessary, it will only disturb the eyes of other motorists. In serious cases, it may cause a car accident. In the streets of the city, the headlights and rear fog lamps of some cars are often seen together.

Tip 9: Forecast Driving

Keep a sufficient reaction distance with the vehicle ahead. If you find that the front vehicle has the tendency of deceleration and line-up, prepare for deceleration in advance, and you can only increase the trouble.

Tip 10: Pay attention to the oil meter

Long-term low-speed driving and repeated start-stopping will increase the fuel consumption in the snow. If the amount of oil is less than 1/4, find a gas station as soon as possible.
