Chrysler recalled 24,000 new models

According to U.S. media reports, the Chrysler Group has already issued a recall announcement. Due to the sudden failure of the brakes, Chrysler’s 24,000 Chrysler , Dodge, and Jeep brands are facing a recall.

Chrysler’s recalled models include the 2010 Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger sedan, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Commander and Grand Cherokee SUV models, and 2009 Ram truck models.

It is reported that the fixing clips of the brake booster levers of these models have problems of improper assembly, and some Ram truck models do not even install this fixing clip. This fixing clip plays an important role in the braking of the vehicle.

Chrysler said that at present, there is no situation in which any vehicle will collide with this problem or cause the driver to be injured during actual driving. A worker at the Chrysler Assembly Quality Control Department found this problem when testing a newly assembled Ram heavy truck. However, the recalled Ram truck model not only includes heavy trucks , but also includes other Ram truck models.

Chrysler said in the recall announcement that the group will replace the clip for the recalled model free of charge. Other models that have not yet been formally delivered have also been carefully examined.
