It is reported that Chery's passenger car project in Guiyang is divided into two phases: the first phase of the project covers an area of ​​517 mu, and the investment is 1.2 billion yuan. It will mainly produce passenger cars and new energy vehicles. After the project reaches its capacity, it will realize an annual output value of 4 billion yuan and a tax of 240 million yuan. The second phase of the project will further increase production capacity and expand the product range of new energy vehicles. By 2020, it will achieve a production capacity of 30,000 vehicles. The output value will exceed 10 billion yuan and the tax revenue will reach 1 billion yuan.
The reporter learned that Chery Automobile had reached a plan to establish a new production base in the local area through the acquisition of a local production company called “Wanda Busâ€. Before entering Guizhou, Chery deployed a small passenger vehicle manufacturing base only at the headquarters in Wuhu. At present, Chery's bus base in Wuhu currently has an annual production capacity of 1,500 units.
