Several old people armed with sticks patrolled around more than 20 square meters of flower beds. In the flower beds and on the surrounding roads, adults have continuously climbed out of their thumb-sized scorpions and were quickly crushed by patrolling residents.

"At 10:00 PM on the 19th, a resident of a hyena first discovered a scorpion on the east side of the flowerbed." Resident No. 1 Wang Jinchun said that the scorpion was initially installed in a carton about 1 meter long and half a meter high. There are more than a dozen compartments for laying eggs. "Each floor is full of dumplings."

When the box was found to have been turned over, a large number of scorpions were scattered around. Wang Jinchun said that he did not know who put the crates to this place, and no one had ever come to claim them.

Police residents patrol along the flower beds

The flower beds were only about 1 meter apart from Building 1 and they were close to the unit gates. Residents were worried that they would bite them when they were on the move or climb to their homes.

The night before the residents reported that the police and the urban management personnel had arrived one after another. “They took away the leftovers from the box. There was no good way for them to climb out,” Wang Jinchun said.

Afterwards, more than a dozen people, including civilian police and residents, patrolled along the flower beds until the early hours. They stamped out the found scorpions. However, many scorpions hide under the vegetation of the flower beds and even drill into the soil and cannot be eradicated.

Gardening Agency spraying has not yet been eradicated

Yesterday, after the residents reported to the Baizhifang Street Office, the staff contacted the Bureau of Parks for help. At 5 o'clock in the afternoon, a spray truck came to spray the flowers inside the flower bed.

“The staff of the Bureau of Landscaping stated that there are no drugs that specifically kill lice, and only insecticides can be sprayed.” Residents said that the effect was not obvious after spraying. “The residents also sprinkled some dichlorvos in the flower beds”, but There are still scorpions appearing constantly. Residents have to re-group patrols. "There are still a lot of lice, and I slammed nearly 50 in less than an hour," said one resident.

At the time of writing, no residents had been bitten. After residents of the first floor checked the room, they did not find the dumplings in the house.
