U.S. wants to initiate investigation of some meter seals

On January 18, 2013, EJBrooks Company infringed its Patent Rights (US Patent No. 5851038) and claimed that some of the Instrument Sealing Rings and Components Thereof sold in the United States and sold in the US domestic market had infringed its patent rights. Investigate and issue general exclusion orders and prohibitions.

The complainant suggested that Taiwan Mao Dah Enterprise be listed as a mandatory respondent in the case.

The United States “337 U.S. survey” prohibits all unfair competition or any unfair trade practices in exporting products to the United States. This unfair act specifically means that the product enters the United States with unfair competition or unfair behavior, or the owner, importer, or agent of the product sells the product in the U.S. market in an unfair manner, and U.S.-related industries cause substantial damage or damage, or impede the establishment of U.S. related industries, or suppress, manipulate U.S. businesses and trade, or infringe upon legitimate and effective U.S. trademarks and patents, or infringe the layout of integrated circuit chips. At present, the US ITC is reviewing the application to decide whether to formally file the case.
