Judging from the monthly production of pure electric buses this month, September is the best performing month so far, which also indicates the launch of new energy buses this year. In previous years, the new energy automobile market had a "year-end effect", and the fourth quarter will have a peak impulse. However, industry insiders generally predict that the fourth quarter of this year will not be able to reach the level of last year's production and sales, and the fourth quarter will predict a larger year-on-year decline. This is because the production and sales peak in the fourth quarter of last year. Originated from the company's early impulse, but also overdrawn this year's market demand for some orders. From the viewpoint of sub-car makers, the top three ranks of pure electric passenger cars are Yutong Bus, Zhongtong Bus and CRRC Electric, with output data of 2019, 878 and 828 respectively. Among them, among the top ten companies in September, Yutong, CRRC Electric, Yinlong New Energy, Beiqi Foton, Youth Automotive and Shanghai Shenlong are all positive growth, and Beiqi Foton, which ranks second in terms of monthly sales, produced 878 vehicles in September. The second-ranked Zhongtong Bus in August ranked third with 828 units in September, but its cumulative output from January to September still ranked second. The monthly rankings of the fourth and fifth were BYD and CRRC Electric, respectively, and CRRC Electric’s growth was 73% year-on-year. In September, the fifth-ranked heavy-duty HOWO buses entered the top ten camp for the first time, achieving a high growth rate of 247% year-on-year in 423 vehicles.

From January to September this year, the total production volume of the pure electric passenger car market as a whole was 27,684, a year-on-year decrease of 45%, and production was reduced by about 23,000 units compared to the same period last year.

Judging from the statistical data, Yutong Bus produced 6,161 various types of pure electric buses from January to September, with a year-on-year decrease of 38% and a market share of 22.2%, ranking first in the industry; Zhongtong Bus produced 3,191 vehicles from January to September, which was a year-on-year decrease. 59%, with a share of 11.5%. However, no matter whether it is the annual horizontal comparison or the vertical comparison of monthly production, we can see that the statistics of the entire pure electric passenger car market are not regular, which shows that the development of the current pure electric passenger car market has not yet entered the virtuous cycle, subject to policy. It will take a long time to reach a market-oriented development stage.
