KDN-04C digester operation instructions

In order to improve the detection speed of protein content determination, the key is to accelerate the digesting digestion time of the sample firstly. The KDN-04C-4 well digestion furnace can heat individual pores or multiple pores independently due to the use of the well-type ceramic electric heating digestion method. The digestive tract, together with 20 ml of sulfuric acid injected into the tube, was placed in a well-type ceramic furnace for heating and boiling to achieve a better thermal effect. The harmful gases such as SO2 overflowing from the digestive canal were passed through the effluent pipe on the digester via a suction pump. The water is discharged into the sewer, effectively suppressing the escape of harmful gases.

1. Suction pump connection method

Suction pump A end with a rubber hose connected with the faucet, B end hose and the exhaust pipe exhaust pipe elbow at the end, C end of the rubber pipe into the sewer, B, C end rubber hose connection should not be too long, digestion and sewage The amount of tap water should be as large as possible to increase the suction of the suction pump so that exhaust gas is discharged from the sewer along with the tap water.

2. Digestion furnace temperature control mode:

KDN-04C digester adopts intelligent micro-controller to control the heating process of digestion furnace, and directly shows the heating temperature and heating time of the furnace core. Users can set the heating mode and heating process according to actual needs.

1, furnace core hole

※ Note: In order to ensure the accuracy of digestion results, use the hole position principle: first A hole, then B hole; first C hole, then D hole. The amount of acid solution in wells A and B should be as consistent as possible. Also, the amount of acid solution in the C hole and D hole should be consistent.

The core hole position is shown in the figure on the right, A, B, C, D 4 holes, 2 points temperature sampling, 3 output control. The 2-point temperature samples are AB and CD 2 respectively, and the 3-way outputs are A, B, and CD.

2, mode selection

There are 4 modes in total

In the A mode, only one burner in the A hole is heated.

In AB mode, both A and B holes are heated at the same time.

ACD mode, A, C, D three holes at the same time the core heating.

ABCD mode, A, B, C, D four hole core heating at the same time.

After power-on, press "Settings", through "", move the cursor to the menu "Mode", then press "Confirm" to enter the mode setting interface (as shown in the right figure). After selecting with the "" key, press "OK" to return to the main menu.

3, process settings

The heating process is divided into three temperature stages (three temperature stages T1, T2, and T3), and each temperature stage can be set to a different holding time in minutes. If only one or two temperature phases are required, one of the phase times can be set to zero.

After power on, press "Settings", through "", move the cursor to the menu "Flow" and press "Confirm" to enter the flow setting interface. Use the “Set” key to select the setting bit, then use “” to modify the phase time and temperature, press “Confirm” to return to the main menu.

※ To modify the temperature or time, press and hold “▲” or “▲” for a few seconds or 10 minutes.


4, start / stop

In the main menu interface, when the cursor moves to “start”, press “confirm” to start heating. The temperature of each hole, the current stage, the current stage time, and the total heating time are displayed when heated. When heating, press the "Settings" button to jump out the "Whether to stop heating" query dialog box, select "Yes" to stop heating, "No" to continue heating.
