(1) Overview
Tongshan molybdenum mine area is located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, Jurong county territory.

Water is taken from groundwater and surface water 4 km away from the ore dressing plant, and 50% of the tailings return water.
The power comes from the East China Power Network. A 35 kV high-voltage line was set up from Nanjing Zhongmei Village to the mining area. The capacity of the total depressurization substation in the mining area is 1000 thousand volt-amperes, and the installed capacity of the concentrator is 465 watts.
(two) process
1. The ore is a skarn type copper-molybdenum deposit, and the ore body is produced in the contact zone of granite , diorite and limestone. The ore type is copper ore (including copper grade 0.8-1%, molybdenum grade 0.01~0.02%); molybdenum ore containing molybdenum grade 0.08~0.12%, copper grade 0.03~0.05%); mixed ore (containing copper grade 0.05%, Molybdenum grades are 0.05%).
The main metal minerals chalcopyrite, and small amounts of molybdenite pyrite, magnetite, pyrrhotite, bornite, covellite, chalcocite, sphalerite like. The gangue minerals mainly include garnet , followed by actinolite, calcite , quartz , and chlorite.
Chalcopyrite has a coarse grain size and is a block-like or scatter-like aggregate. 60 to 80% of the molybdenum ore is a sheet-like aggregate embedded in the gangue cleft, and a few are present as separate lamellae. And there is a phenomenon of symbiosis with chalcopyrite.
The ore contains 2% water, the ore has a true specific gravity of 3.4, and the pseudo-specific gravity is 2.12, which is an extremely hard ore.
2. Process Flow Broken: Two sections and one closed circuit, the original ore size is 350~0 mm, the final product size is 16~0 mm, and the total crushing ratio is 21.9.
Grinding and floating: for a closed-circuit grinding, grinding fineness -200 mesh accounted for 65~70%. When selecting copper ore, it is a rough selection, secondary selection, and secondary sweeping. The process flow is shown in Figure 1 below.
