Investing about eight billion in each half

According to reports, the planned production capacity of the new plant will be 300,000 vehicles a year, of which the first phase will achieve an annual output of 150,000 vehicles and 150,000 engines. The vehicle factory includes five major workshops for stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and resin, and supporting facilities. The engine factory includes the casting and machining of the cylinder block and cylinder head, engine assembly, testing, and corresponding auxiliary facilities. The first SUV products put into production will be launched in the first half of 2016 as soon as possible.

In 2013, Renault’s total domestic sales in China are expected to be around 30,000. After the establishment of Dongfeng Renault Co., Ltd., Renault will substantially enter the world's largest automotive market through localized R&D, procurement, production, sales, and service.

“The dealer network will be gradually expanded to around 120.
