Alfa Laval's Marine and Diesel Division recently received a large order worth approximately SEK 65 million (a total of approximately 48.9 million RMB) to provide a waste heat recovery system for diesel power plants to be built in Asia. The plan is to be delivered in 2017. 
The heat recovered from these waste heat recovery systems can generate electricity that meets the electricity needs of 1.5 million people per year without the need for additional fuel.
It is reported that these systems will be used to recover and reuse the heat generated by diesel engines to produce steam for power generation, thereby increasing the efficiency of the entire plant.

Peter Leifland, president of Alfa Laval's Marine and Diesel Division, said: "I can announce the order for this Alfa Laval Aalborg heat recovery system. I feel I am very pleased.
