On November 5, 2013, it was learned from China Machinery Industry Federation and China Mechanical Engineering Society that Yuchai ’s 7 achievements, including the “Technology Innovation and Industrialization of Large-scale Diesel Engine Iron Wood Plastic Composite Mold,†won the 2013 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. Among them, there are 3 second prizes and 4 third prizes.
The China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award is an award set up to promote scientific and technological progress in the Chinese machinery industry. Each year, the China Machinery Industry Federation and China Mechanical Engineering Society will commend organizations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of science and technology in the machinery industry. In 2012, Yuchai’s two achievements were awarded, and the 2013 award-winning results soared to seven, which was a “big bumperâ€.
