Yao Wei mentioned that Chinese buses had been exported to Europe in volume five or six years ago. If we look at the top 10 Chinese bus exports in recent years, some countries in Europe will still be in the top ten on the list five to six years ago. However, in the past few years from 2010 to 2014, European countries are not on this list. In the middle of the period, European customers began to reject Chinese buses because Chinese buses have brought bad impressions to customers after they arrived in Europe. These are not good. Compared with the lack of service, Wang Jian is more concerned about the use of new energy buses. In Wang Jian’s view, the current use of new energy buses is far less efficient than diesel vehicles, which is mainly reflected in the large amount of energy loss from the input to the output at rated speed. He uses the United States as an example to list the energy efficiency and exhaust emissions of fuels, of which the combustion efficiency of electricity is 0.51 miles per gallon, while the diesel reaches 3.65 miles per gallon, and the highest is gasoline, which reaches 5.35 miles per gallon. He also believes that the main drawbacks of battery electric buses are still being overweight and bulky, which is quite unfavorable for long-distance operation.
