The new energy vehicle market is booming. China has become the "focus" of the world.

At the end of September, the Paris Motor Show with the role of the global automotive industry was launched. The Paris Motor Show was dubbed the New Energy Auto Show. Whether it is a luxury car brand represented by Mercedes-Benz, or a Volkswagen Group that is exploring new directions after the “emissions gate”, and traditional auto companies such as Toyota and Renault, the focus of their participation is from the landing of new energy technologies.

It is particularly worth mentioning that the German plan to ban the sale of fuel vehicles was hotly debated. According to foreign media reports, the German Federal Senate passed a resolution, only allowed zero-emission car sales after 2030, this resolution triggered a strong rebound in the European automotive industry.

In any case, increasingly stringent emission standards have become a new problem in the automotive industry. At this Paris Motor Show, Christian Senger, head of the Volkswagen brand electric vehicle research and development, said in an interview that before 2025, Volkswagen will achieve the goal of selling 1 million electric vehicles a year.

The Chinese market is the top priority for major auto companies to deploy new energy vehicles. To this end, Volkswagen and Jianghuai's new energy vehicle joint venture project is accelerating. In fact, not only the public, but also the market opportunities for new energy vehicles, the new round of competition in the automotive industry is focusing on China.

Collective power electric vehicle

Statistics show that this year's Paris Motor Show released about 60 new cars, including nearly 20 new energy models. Not only has the quantity already occupied an important position, but more importantly, the strategic layout with new energy as the core has become the competitive direction of the global auto giants.

At this year's Paris Motor Show, it is worth mentioning that, unlike the previous auto companies focusing on the new energy trend, the company focused on the new energy technology and models.

Renault at home, this auto show brought six new cars, but its booth left half of the space to the Renault ZOE pure electric car. Renault CEO Ghosn’s live speech also used a lot of space to interpret this electric car. Thanks to the replacement of the new battery pack, the ZOE pure electric vehicle achieved the performance of the 400km cruising range under NEDC's new European driving conditions.

“The number of 400 kilometers of cruising range does not have to wait for another 4 years, even for one year, because it is now a set fact. According to the frequency of use in our customers' daily life, its mileage is 300 kilometers. For example, If you use ZOE now, for example, 40 kilometers a day, you only need to charge once a week,” Ghosn said.

The improvement in power battery performance does not only benefit the Renault family. At the Paris Motor Show, the reporter saw that BMW and Opel have all played such a banner. The new i3 launched by BMW at the Paris Motor Show also featured the words “new battery + 50% capacity, 300mL (NEDC)”.

At the same time, GM's Opel is even more radical. As the European redemption model of the Chevrolet BOLT, the Opel Ampera-e can achieve a single charge of 500KM battery life under the NEDC test.

Unlike these models, which are marked by increased mileage, both Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen have placed the company's future development in the field of electric vehicles, and even opened separate new sub-brands. Mercedes-Benz chose to use the SUV concept car as the entry point to create a new electric car brand "EQ".

Volkswagen also showed an electric concept car ID that was mass-produced in 2020. . Volkswagen announced that it will launch 30 pure electric vehicles in 2025, with a total sales volume of 2 million to 2.5 million units, which is expected to account for 20% to 30% of the total sales of the Volkswagen Group.

The Chinese market has become the focus

In 2015, the sales volume of new energy vehicles in the Chinese market reached 331,100 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.4 times. According to the latest statistics, from January to August 2016, the sales volume of new energy vehicles in the Chinese market reached 245,000, an increase of 115.6%. The Chinese market has become the largest market for new energy vehicles in the world and one of the fastest growing markets. It is also stimulating major auto companies to bring new energy vehicles to China quickly.

At present, most of the sales share of China's new energy vehicle market is occupied by independent brands. With the accelerated expansion of the market, the introduction of foreign brands to accelerate the introduction of models has become a trend.

Taking Volkswagen as an example, on the Volkswagen Night before the Paris Motor Show, Volkswagen CEO Mulun once again stressed that new energy is an important part of the public's “joining together – 2025 strategy”. Volkswagen will launch more than 30 pure electric vehicles by 2025, and the future Volkswagen electric vehicles will account for a quarter of the global passenger car market.

In the promotion of new energy vehicles, the cooperation between Volkswagen and Chinese companies such as Jianghuai and BAT (Baidu, Ali, Tencent) has been mentioned many times. Among them, the landing of the Volkswagen Jianghuai electric vehicle project has attracted much attention at this Paris Motor Show. In an interview, Volkswagen Group (China) President and CEO Heizman said that Volkswagen will jointly establish a joint venture with Jianghuai Automobile to produce pure electric vehicles after obtaining approval from relevant authorities of the Chinese government.

He stressed that the cooperation with JAC will not have any impact on the existing two joint ventures. The cooperation between Volkswagen and Jianghuai will focus on new energy automotive products and components. The two companies will soon launch the first product, so the first model is based on the existing mature platform.

According to the established plan, Volkswagen promotes the localization of new energy vehicles in China. There are three steps: at present, the introduction of new energy vehicles; the next step is to start production on other existing platforms such as MQB platform; the third phase is gradually based on MEB platform. On this basis, the cruising range of new energy vehicles will achieve a great leap, reaching 400 km to 600 km.

Under the background of the large-scale development of new energy vehicles in the Chinese market, it has become the top priority for global auto giants to compete for new energy vehicles. According to Ye Shengji, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, by 2030, new energy vehicles are expected to support half of China's auto sales. In other words, this million-dollar market is accumulating a more intense competition.

Metal 3D Printing - Slm / Dmls

METAL 3D Printing - SLM / DMLS
The two technologies have many similarities: both use laser scanning and selectively fuse (or melt) metal powder particles, glue them together and build them layer by layer. Similarly, the materials used in both processes are granular metals.
The difference between SLM and DMLS is due to the basis (and patents) of the particle bonding process: SLM uses metal powder with a single melting temperature and completely melts the particles, while in DMLS, the powder is composed of materials with variable melting points at high temperatures Fusion at the molecular level.
Bering 3D provides 3D printing services for various metal materials such as stainless steel, die steel, titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, and bronze.
