The EU REACH Regulation took effect in 2007 and began pre-registration on June 1, 2008. In order to help oil and chemical companies and related companies successfully complete pre-registration and registration, in the afternoon of January 9, 2008, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association signed a cooperation agreement with REACHLaw, Helsinki, Finland. It aims to cooperate in the registration training and guidance for downstream related companies and traders in China's oil and chemical industry, light industry, textiles, machinery and electronics, and automobiles, and plans to hold a seminar on REACH and registration training in Beijing in early March of this year.
