At the beginning of 2007, the water recovery and technological transformation project of Zhaofu Phosphate Fertilizer Plant was put into operation. The project recycles the middle water discharged from the No. 10 rainwater pipeline of the fertilizer plant and the condensate and cooling water of each device as the sulfuric acid circulating water, and recovers the water from the sewage workshop clean water as the phosphoric acid branch exhaust gas washing water and the vacuum pump sealing water. And refill water for circulating water. The project has achieved great results, saving nearly one million yuan in annual costs.
On April 28, the 120 million yuan investment in the recycling of acidic wastewater was started. The project is a demonstration project of recycling economy in Guizhou Province. The acidic wastewater pipe discharged from the phosphate fertilizer plant is transported to the 2.5 million-ton mineral processing plant, which can reduce 2.7 million new water consumptions per year, save 2.7 million square tons of waste water treatment costs and 50,000 tons of sulfuric acid, and protect the environment while saving resources. In order to implement the circular economy strategy, the company has invested more than 80 million yuan to control the slagging yard and at the same time, it has increased the development of phosphogypsum products. On June 4, an annual output of 500,000 square meters of gypsum block project was completed and put into production. At present, Hongfu Company is working with Wuhan University of Technology to conduct research on the phosphogypsum fluidization decomposition technology and equipment in order to fundamentally solve the problem of utilization of phosphogypsum slag and strive to use 1 million tons of phosphogypsum slag in 2010. The glass-ceramic project and the 100,000-ton ultrafine phosphorous slag project were started in October. The main raw materials for the two projects were yellow phosphorus slag and yellow phosphorus tail gas produced from yellow phosphorus. The project not only saves resources, protects the environment, but also turns waste into treasure, conforms to the national industrial development policy and is expected to be completed and put into production in 2008.

At the first commendation meeting of national reasonable development and utilization of mineral resources, the Ministry of Land and Resources was awarded the "Advanced mining enterprise for the rational development and utilization of mineral resources."
