Bayer MaterialScience recently introduced a new formulation for the Baycusan product line of polyurethane dispersions in skin care and sun protection, and showcased color application examples. Baycusan C 1000 products, which do not contain co-solvents or preservatives, have a SPF synergistic effect. Although the film-forming polymer itself does not contain any UV-absorbing component, it can increase the sun protection factor of the formulation. The cost-effective formula provides high comfort and assists in stabilizing emulsions. It is especially suitable for spray systems and significantly improves the waterproof properties of sunscreen products.
